Let us introduce this year’s visual image of the Festival with the “Festival Face” - Renée Fleming. the most interesting concerts of the 14th IMF ČESKÝ KRUMLOV. Let´s look forward to the most interisting concerts of the 18th IMF Český Krumlov.

World renowned soprano Renée Fleming will perform at a Gala Concert on 18.7.2009. The Festival concert of Karel Gott, Eva Urbanová and Tereza Mátlová, held in the Brewery Garden on 8 August will be surely unique thanks to the settings, but particularly thanks to its protagonists.

Excellent Shlomo Mintz, is going to introduce himself in three roles: as a violin virtuoso, a violist in Mozart’s concerto symphony for violin and viola in E flat major, where the violin part will be interpreted by Pavel Šporcl, and as a conductor of the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra on 14 August 2009, in an opera performance of Rusalka the role of the foreign princess will be sung by Alison Bolshoi or Eva Urbanová. During the theme concert Night on Broadway II on 15.8.2009, which continues in the footsteps of the premiere at last year’s festival we will hear the most popular musical melodies sung in an original way among others by Debbie Gravitte and Doug LaBrecque. During the Hungarian Night on 1.8.2009, full of national music, dances and gourmet experiences, Palya Bea with her quartetwill sing, then on 7.8.2009 Kateřina Englichová, Alžběta Vlčková and Lubomír Brabec will introduce themselves.

The height of the end of the festival is Dvořák’s Concert for Cello and Orchestra in h minor, interpreted by Kyrill Rodin in the Castle Riding Hall on 22.8.2009.
